The London Mosaic Weekend

This two day course explores traditional and innovative approaches to mosaic making, allowing you to confidently create your own original work. Taught by a professional mosaic artist, this is a stimulating and yet relaxing weekend. As we work in small groups, the course accommodates all levels of ability from absolute beginners to those wanting to learn new techniques or start more complicated projects with support.
We start with a comprehensive lecture and slide show as well as plenty of visual source material, books, samples, a range of glass, ceramic, china marble and more to captivate you with this ancient, dynamic and therapeutic art form.

The course runs five times a year, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm, at Trinity Buoy Wharf, a creative and stimulating environment, conveniently located close to Canary Wharf. The cost of the weekend is £195.00, this includes all materials and beverages. Lunch and accommodation are not included, though sandwiches are a good idea, as no one ever seems to want to stop to eat! Successful reviews in: the Guardian, Time Out and Homes and Gardens, etc. make booking essential. Previous students welcome at a reduced daily rate.
